One Earth Award

Sponsored by the One Earth Fund and the Salamander Fund of the Triangle Community Foundation, the One Earth Award offers $1,000 scholarships for four students whose works address the pressing issue of human-caused climate change.

All students in grades 7–12 (ages 13 and up) are eligible to participate and should apply through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

Deadlines vary between December 2020 and January 2021, depending on your region. Teens can visit artandwriting.org/one-earth to find out their regional deadlines and how to apply.
