November 19, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
FreeClimate action and sustainability are growing priorities for universities around the world. Many are responding by developing strong operational sustainability goals and targets, and placing an increased emphasis on teaching and research related to climate change and sustainability. However, while these are important initial steps, establishing an explicit agenda for transforming campuses into living laboratories and agents of change in the community might allow universities to truly lead the way towards a more sustainable future. This webinar will explore the approaches that several global universities are taking to transform their campuses and position themselves as change agents in society with respect to climate action and sustainability.
